Job Purpose

• The candidate would be responsible for ensuring reconciliation of Internal Office Accounts and GL accounts viz., Other Assets and Liability accounts, Clearing and Suspense Accounts, ATM Cash Balance GLs and Debit and Credit Card settlement GL accounts, etc. in a timely and precise manner
• The candidate needs to be conversant with the applicable regulations in respect of submission of Statement of Financial Transactions and other regulatory returns in connection with Digital Payments/ Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, etc
• The candidate needs to identify the risk and control issues through continuous monitoring and data analytics
• The candidate needs to coordinate and collaborate with the stake holders on their daily reconciliation tasks for resolution of aged outstandings and escalation. Candidate to familiarise with the processes and operating procedures in place to identify areas of risk and control to ensure no Issue and Action items
• Excellent communication skills along with in depth analytical skill is mandatory

Key Accountabilities

• Reconciliation of Internal Office Accounts, Other Assets and Liability Accounts and Clearing and Suspense accounts, INR Nostro Accounts, ATM Cash Balances and settlements of debit and credit cards, etc. and ensure no ageing outstandings above the prescribed days
• Certification of General Ledger accounts matching with the reconciliations balances with due substantiation documents in line with the Standards and Guidelines of the Bank

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for carrying out daily reconciliation of Reconciliaiton of Internal Office Accounts, Other Assets and Liability Accounts and Clearing and Suspense accounts, INR Nostro Accounts, ATM Cash Balances and settlements of debit and credit cards, etc. T
• Responsible for ensuring reconciliation are carried out and published in a timely and precise manner
• Responsible for monitoring and following up the aged outstanding entires till resolution duly adhering to the escalation metrics
• Responsible for carrying out the above tasks with checks and control measures duly adhering to the Operating Procedure in place
• Resonsible for coordinating and collaborating with various stake holders for seamless resolution of aged outstandings
• Responsible for preparation of Statement of Financial Transactions and other regulatory submissions duly adhering to the Operating Procedure and Guidelines in place

Required ExperienceEssential

• Prior experience in in handling Reconciliation / knowledge of Regulatory reporting / Governance & Control over the relevant processes

Desirable

• Experience of min 2 years in any of the above functions
• Been part of reconciliation automation processes or projects
• Working knowledge of Payment Operations & Trade
• Understanding the processes and accounting procedures of NEFT and RTGS
